Israel's Apartheid VS South Africa's Apartheid

Facts VS Fiction

Apartheid in South Africa was based on color separation. It was the whites (the “Europeans”) versus the “non-Europeans” (Blacks, Coloreds [mixed race], Indians Malays and Chinese). All suffered from the legalized deprivation decreed by a South African government determined to impose white domination on the rest.

It is manifestly clear that Israel has no color problem of any kind.

Israel including Jews, Circassian, Druze, Kurds, Armenians, Beduin and other non- Jewish citizens of the Jewish State, enjoy equal rights. Many Druze and Beduin serve in Israel’s army.

The apartheid lie attached to Israel is one of several concocted by Palestinians to publicize their cause. Readers and viewers are led by the nose because lies are so effective in promoting their policies – the bigger the better. Nevertheless the apartheid concept is totally inapplicable to Israel as the following refutations abundantly make clear:

South Africa:
1. Blacks, Coloreds, Indians, Malays and Chinese were legally classified as “Non- Europeans” and did not have the vote in apartheid South Africa. Neither in Municipal, Provincial nor Government elections.

Israel:
Israel’s Arab citizens, some 20% of the population, have always enjoyed equal voting rights. Eleven Arabs sit in Israel’s Knesset.

South Africa:
2. Non-Europeans exclusively had to carry a “Pass Book”. (Identity books were introduced for Europeans round about 1976.) Employers had to sign the pass books monthly. Pass book infringements by blacks led to jail sentences and often to deportation to the black homelands.

Israel:
All citizens and legal residents of Israel carry an identity card as required by law.

South Africa:
3. Job Reservation laws kept non-Europeans from a wide range of jobs.

Israel:
No discrimination of this kind has ever existed in Israel’s democratic Jewish State. Moreover, any company which refuses to give job to Arab, will be on trial in the law court.

South Africa:
4. There was free education for whites till matriculation. Not so for blacks whose educational prowess was strictly limited by an oppressive Bantu EducationAct.

Israel:
All school going children in Israel are entitled to publicly subsidized education till matriculation. No racial distinctions whatever are made, Arabs and Jews studies at the same classes.

South Africa:
5. Only one university was established for Blacks in South Africa, at Fort Hare.

Israel:
In addition to several Arab universities which Israel established in the predominantly Arab areas, Arab students may study at any university in Israel.

South Africa:
6. Black-white sex was a serious jail time crime. Sex detectives were even employed to catch offending parties in flagrante delicto .

Israel:
Legal sex apartheid in democratic Israel? You must be joking! There are so many mixed couples of Arab & Jews

South Africa:
7. Medical services for non-Europeans were both restricted and segregated.

Israel:
Arab citizens are members of all the major Medical Service Organizations and benefit equally from government subsidized medical services.

South Africa:
8. Hospitals were largely segregated or had segregated wards. Black hospitals were under funded, under staffed, and few. A "white" ambulance could not take a black to hospital.

Israel:
Not the Israeli way. Israeli Arabs get the full treatment in all State hospitals.

South Africa:
9. Non-Europeans “could not be employed in any of the skilled trades; they cannot become engineers, accountants or pharmacists. They may not use the libraries, cinemas, public transport, public conveniences, post offices, etc.

Israel:
No such thing in Israel. All Israel citizens are able to work in any profession they choose.

South Africa:
10. For many decades blacks had to observe a 9 p.m. curfew or face arrest, jail sentences and deportation.

Israel:
Absolutely unheard of in democratic Israel.

South Africa:
11. No mixed sport was allowed – by law.

Israel:
No such law ever in democratic Israel.

South Africa:
12. Parks and recreational areas provided benches for people to rest. Benches were painted with “Europeans Only” signs.

Israel:
No such law ever in democratic Israel.

South Africa:
13.Non-Europeans were not permitted to use the main entrance to buildings. They had to use the “tradesmen’s” entrance at back.

Israel:
An unheard of apartheid stricture in democratic Israel.

South Africa:
14. Libraries, public swimming pools and beaches were racially segregated. Even so there were practically no black pools or libraries.

Israel:
No such segregation in democratic Israel.

Anyway, the list is still long.

The way the Arabs use “Israeli apartheid” one might think they were protesting because Israel does not permit Arabs in their midst.

The opposite is the reality.

Many Jews who has strayed into an Arab city, or taken a chance on doing business there, has been cruelly murdered.

The Arabs speak as though the wall as covers the full length of Israel’s anti- terrorist barrier. The unpalatable fact is that it does not. The barrier is 96% fence and 4% wall. Walls are only erected to prevent terrorist sharp shooters targeting Israelis living opposite built–up Arab areas.

Proud to Be Muslims?

By Imran Hossain

Go discuss any religious topic with Muslims anywhere; most of them would frequently tell you, "You have to be proud to be a Muslim".

I learn the same item whenever I argue with my Muslim friends, relatives, colleagues etc.

Why do we have to be proud to be Muslims?

What have we done?

Please let me response those questions:

1) How many scientists, astronauts, biologists etc. do we find from our Muslim background?

General senses and statistics tell us about 95% scientists and astronauts are from the Jewish and Christian backgrounds and about 4.9 % from other backgrounds.

Where can I find Muslims amongst those creative people?

Are we Muslims still proud of being nothing?

2) The modern equipments, automotives, appliances etc. we are now using such as computers, internet, Windows and other software, telephones, TVs, radios, clocks, A/Cs,
freezes, aeroplanes, cars, trains,

Taking allopathic medicines, having modern treatments; wearing comfortable stuffs like shirt-pant, underwear, eyewear, durable shoes, and many more stuffs for our daily
needs.

Can anyone show me the strong evidence that any of those things are invented by Muslims?

I do not think so.

Are we still proud of this failure?

3) We had somewhat better economy only for 24 years looooooong time ago within 1400 years when there was a secular state rather than Islamic.

How many countries are now economically strong in 57 Muslim nations?

Unlike Saudi Arab, UAE Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, these countries are rich for nothing but petro-dollar.

They could never be wealthy unless the West helps them to raise oil from the deserts.

And in Malaysia, the most industries are owned by the Chinese origin people. That's why it's got typical better economy.

How about the rest of the Muslim countries? Like 65 % people can not even eat properly in those places.

Are we still proud of our collapsed economy?

4) What are some of the true (pukka) Muslim brothers doing? Our brothers do suicide bombing, hijack aeroplanes etc. inspired by our religion to shed blood of the innocent
people. The whole world is now scared of Jihadi Organisations.

Who are making these barbaric work?

No-one but our brothers!!!

Are we still proud of the bloody jobs?

5) Because of some of our Muslim brothers only, there are extra security forces in the West.

In addition, USA has launched fingerprint system lately at the airports and the crossing points; US immigration and air carriers have produced some special types of
software which promptly recognise all Muslim names.

Why are these all happening for? Just for our Muslim brothers!!!

Are we still proud of these humiliations?

6) Our brothers, the real Muslim people from Middle East do not give citizenships even to the guest Muslims although someone is born in those vast deserts.

In addition, countries like Saudi Arabia and other some Middle Eastern countries grant social benefits upon sexes, races and religions.

Shall we still speak out that we are proud of the rude discrimination?

7) I have a lot of friends in North America who are Shiks, Hindus, Christians, Buddhists, Jews and many others.

I wonder why I always get to hear the same outdated folk stories only from Muslims such as praising the great leaders Saddam Hussein and Arafat; criticising Israel, USA,
and Bush's policies always; who is winning or losing in next US elections?; Jews leaders and their influences in USA etc. It is really amazing!!!

I never hear these types of rubbish criticisms from my other non-Muslim friends.

So, shall we still be proud of our identical holy thinking?

8) Actually, who are we? How do we learn Islam? How do get to raise our voice? As a matter of fact, our ancestors are brainwashed by the Arab Bedouins several hundred
years ago that's how we are now Muslims.

Since then, we try to become the typical followers of Prophet Mohamed, and we start believing in almighty Allah and Holy Koran.

By the way, can we Muslims even utilize the good parts from Koran and Hadiths?

Now, some Islamists might want to beat me that why I blame all Muslims because of few bigots. However, I do not impose all criticisms on all Muslims.

Please let me clarify a possible claim of some Islamists or Muslims: it is good to hear that they do not like the terrorisms of some of our brothers.

But, when USA and UK increase securities in their lands, take some necessary steps against terrorisms, and go fighting with our terrorist brothers, then why do those
Islamists or most Muslims defy USA and UK, and keep supporting our terrorist brothers?

During the war on terrorism in 2001, I observed from different sources that approximately 95% Muslims around the world was against the Anglo-American war.

Now, which one I should choose from possible comments: hating or supporting terrorist brothers?

I am not a fool I would pick both of them. Whatsoever, in fact, the main thing is nothing but most Muslims are affected with Islamic virus (SKM's idea).

These days, it would be the funniest thing to claim that "we are proud to be Muslims" without any strong reasons.

When Allah Does Not Know...

God or Allah has to be the only one for all human beings, no discrimination is applicable here. But, after reading Holy Koran I find super powerful Allah
does not know lots of things what we need today or what is our history, that's why there are still some FAQ left.

Based on the information from Holy Koran, I do not find the answers of my questions after reading Koran.

Let me write just a few general phenomenons which Allah should know and inform us because He is almighty.

1)
Sura 2:22, 13.3, 15.19, 20:53, 22:65, "Who has made earth for you like a bed..." or "Who has made earth for you (like a carpet) spread out..." (Sura - 43:10)
Earth Is Spherical (Round): There is no doubt to almost everybody that we could know the earth is round in favour of the laws of science; however,
almighty Allah's vision proves the Earth is flat, "like a bed".

The Bible say: "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth"(Isaiah 40:22).

Allah is all-powerful and He created us and the Universe, therefore, why doesn't he know the earth is spherical?

Can anyone produce in debate any verses from Holy Koran where He explained the acceptable information on earth?

2)
Sura 7:54, 10:3, 11:7 clearly state that God created "the heavens and the earth" in six days.
But in Sura 41:9-12 the detailed description of the creation procedure adds up to eight days.

Why wasn't powerful Allah able to create the Earth and Heaven at a precise day? And why does He make mistakes to state the correct days in Holy Koran?

3)
Movement of the Earth: The Earth is always moving.
It revolves around the Sun every 365 days at a speed of about 30 km/sec.
Moreover, the Earth also has an axis, and it rotates on its axis every 24 hours at a speed of about 1670 km/hr.

But, almighty Allah is not familiar with it. On top of it (Sura - 27:61, 40:64) He explained some wrong phenomenon in Holy Koran that Earth is motionless.

4)
The Universe: According to Koran, Allah stays above the Sky which is far away from Earth.

It is so miraculous that He did not post any messages to His messenger about the Solar System which contains the Earth, Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Pluto,
and so on.

This question shows up because supreme Allah just mentions about the Sky, Sun, Earth, Moon, Stars, etc which can be seen with open eyes from the deserts,
and He points out some related verses only about those.

5)
Sura 21:51-71; 37:97-98, says that Abraham was thrown into a fire [by Nimrod]. Nimrod and Abraham did not live at the same time.

6)
Sura 37:100-112, says Abraham went to sacrifice Ishmael. The Bible says it was Issac.

7)
Sura 5:73-75,116, the Christian Trinity is 3 gods: the Father, the Mother (Mary), and the Son (Jesus).

8)
Creation of Human Beings: Almighty Allah is still playing game with His followers. He mentioned that we are created from clot of congealed blood (Sura 96:2, 75:38).
the Bible says man was created from the dust of the ground.

This theory of the "clot of blood" was directly stolen from the ancient Greek Doctor Galen's hypothesis.

Is it possible to believe in this powerful God who steals the theory from someone?

Does almighty Allah really know how we are created?

9)
The Trees'/Plants' Lives: It is ridiculous that almighty Allah did/does not know the trees/plants have lives. Muslims are not allowed to place even an
image which has life like people and animals. This is why Muslims are permitted to put only the portraits of flowers and plants in the Masques and homes.

10)
Sura 18:89-98 says Alexander the Great was a Muslim and worshiped Allah and lived to an old age. Actually, Alexander the Great died very young and was by
no means a Muslim. The Greek, Alexander the Great lived from 356 - 323 B.C. He was 33 years old when he died.

Muhammad and Islam did not come along till 610 A.D. This was over 900 years after Alexander the Great died.

I asked these above prudent facts to some highly educated Muslims, they were so angry at me first; however, when they were not able to figure those out,
they said to me "the problems which are not given in Koran, the Hadiths solved them".

Hmmm... Well, that's fine; but "the problems in which almighty Allah was not able or failed to fix them, how can the Hadiths do? These Hadiths even were
NOT written by Prophet Mohamed.

Contrast these blunders and many others in the Qur'an, showing this book is NOT INSPIRED by God.

Muhammad had obviously heard some Bible stories, but he seems to have got them confused and mixed up when it came out in his prophetic utterances.
It is quite apparent that the Qu'ran is simply the product of hearsay and imperfect editing from a plurality of traditions then known to Muhammad.

Could anyone please show me the correct way for those above claims from the Hadiths besides Holy Koran?

If any infidel or non-Muslim wants to accept Islam in the 21st century, they would definitely want to know at least those facts.

Anti-Zionism IS Anti-Semitism

"I Don't Hate Jews - I hate Zionists"

Anti-Zionism = Anti-Semitism!!!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

You declare, my friend, that you do not hate the Jews, you are merely 'anti-Zionist.' And I say, let the truth ring forth from the high mountain tops, let it echo through the valleys of God's green earth: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews--this is God's own truth."

Antisemitism, the hatred of the Jewish people, has been and remains a blot on the soul of mankind. In this we are in full agreement. So know also this:

anti-Zionist is inherently anti-Semitic, and ever will be so."

Why is this? You know that Zionism is nothing less than the dream and ideal of the Jewish people returning to live in their own land.

The Jewish people, the Scriptures tell us, once enjoyed a flourishing Commonwealth in the Holy Land. From this they were expelled by the Roman tyrant, the same Romans who cruelly murdered Our Lord (Jesus).

Driven from their homeland, their nation in ashes, forced to wander the globe, the Jewish people time and again suffered the lash of whichever tyrant happened to rule over them.

The Negro people, my friend, know what it is to suffer the torment of tyranny under rulers not of our choosing. Our brothers in Africa have begged, pleaded, requested--DEMANDED the recognition and realization of our inborn right to live in peace under our own sovereignty in our own country.

How easy it should be, for anyone who holds dear this inalienable right of all mankind, to understand and support the right of the Jewish People to live in their ancient Land of Israel.

All men of good will exult in the fulfilment of God's promise, that his People should return in joy to rebuild their plundered land.

This is Zionism, nothing more, nothing less.

And what is anti-Zionist?

It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe.

It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism.

The antisemite rejoices at any opportunity to vent his malice. The times have made it unpopular, in the West, to proclaim openly a hatred of the Jews.

This being the case, the antisemite must constantly seek new forms and forums for his poison.

How he must revel in the new masquerade! He does not hate the Jews, he is just 'anti-Zionist'!

My friend, I do not accuse you of deliberate antisemitism. I know you feel, as I do, a deep love of truth and justice and a revulsion for racism, prejudice, and discrimination. But I know you have been misled--as others have been--into thinking you can be 'anti-Zionist' and yet remain true to these heartfelt principles that you and I share.

Let my words echo in the depths of your soul: When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews--make no mistake about it."

From M.L. King Jr., "Letter to an Anti-Zionist Friend," Saturday Review_XLVII (Aug. 1967), p. 76.

Note:
"Letter to an Anti-Zionist Friend," is often cited as a "hoax" as it can't be found in MLK's books. However, the forward was written by his son MLK III who above all people would know the truth of his Father's thoughts on Zionism and Anti-Semitism.

Ergo: Like it or not - it is the truth about MLK Jr.'s beliefs on these subjects whether some political groups like it or not.

M.L King immediately recognized anti-Zionism as anti-Semitism- Judenhass - refusing to indulge what he believed was simply another manifestation of the same hatred confronting Blacks.

He knew that both peoples [i.e., Blacks and Jews] were uprooted involuntarily from their homelands.

He knew that both peoples were shaped by the tragic experience of slavery. He knew that both peoples were forced to live in ghettoes, victims of segregation.

He knew that both peoples were subject to laws passed with the particular intent of oppressing them simply because they were Jewish or black.

He knew that both peoples have been subjected to oppression and genocide on a level unprecedented in history."

After 2000 years of exile, the Jewish People has emerged traumatized. The source of that trauma has been the constant insecurity and fear that characterized most of the Diaspora, in most parts of the world. It is a product of landlessness, massacres, periodic expulsion and flight, persecution by tyrants and abuse by the Church and Mosque who encouraged antisemitism to satisfy their own insecurities and political desires.

Why America Supports Israel?

General Washington's financial advisor and assistant was a Jewish man by the name of Hyam Salomon. During the cold winter months at Valley Forge when American soldiers were freezing and running out of food, it was Hyam who marshaled all the Jews in America and Europe to provide money in relief aid to these stranded American troops and turned the course of history. Without this help, Washington's Continental Army, and the fate of the American Colonies would have perished before they could have defeated the British.

If you take a one dollar bill out of your pocket and look at the back at the Eagle, the stars above the Eagle's head are in the six point Star of David to honor Jews. If you turn the Eagle upside down you will see a configuration in the likeness of a Menorah....both at the insistence of George Washington who said we should never forget the Jewish people and what they have done in the interest of America.

Israeli-U. S. relations are an important factor in U. S. policy in the Middle East, and Congress has placed considerable importance on the maintenance of a close and supportive relationship.

Lyndon Johnson said:
"The United States and Israel share many common objectives...chief of which is the building of a better world in which every nation can develop its resources and develop them in freedom and peace."

Ronald Reagan was the first President to state explicitly that Israel was a strategic asset to the United States, a belief he expressed even before he was elected: "Only by full appreciation of the critical role the State of Israel plays in our strategic calculus can we build the foundation for thwarting Moscow's designs on territories and resources vital to our security and our national well-being."

Shortly after taking office, George Bush said: "The friendship, the alliance between the United States and Israel is strong and solid, built upon a foundation of shared democratic values, of shared history and heritage, that sustains the life of our two countries. The emotional bond of our people transcends politics. Our strategic cooperation—and I renew today our determination that that go forward—is a source of mutual security."

President Bill Clinton has taken the relationship to another level during his administration. "Our relationship would never vary from its allegiance to the shared values, the shared religious heritage, the shared democratic politics which have made the relationship between the United States and Israel a special—even on occasion a wonderful—relationship."

U.S -Israeli ties strengthened during the second Reagan term. The two countries reached a number of precedent-setting agreements in strategic and defense cooperation. Israel was granted "major non-NATO ally" status that gave it access to expanded weapons systems and opportunities to bid on U. S. defense contracts.

Today, the United States and Israel are the closest of friends and allies. During more than four decades of state-building, Israelis have looked to the United States for inspiration, financial and military assistance, and diplomatic support. Americans, in turn, have viewed Israel with a special appreciation for its successful effort to follow the Western democratic tradition, its remarkable economic development, and its determined struggle against its uncompromising enemies.

The Jewish population in the United States is less than six million; therefore, the political activity of Jews who view strengthening U.S-Israel relations to be in the national interest alone cannot explain the depth of the friendship that exists. Fewer than 3 percent of the population could hardly have such a dramatic influence on American foreign policy. The U.S.-Israel alliance is rooted in shared values.

While it well-known what Israel gets from the U.S it is important to show what the U.S gets in exchange to her support and cooperation with Israel?

Cooperation:

The United States and Israel cooperate closely in a number of areas of military activity.

The U.S. and Israel also cooperate jointly on a number of technology development programs.

The Israeli port of Haifa is the main port of call in the eastern Mediterranean for the United States Sixth Fleet.

Israel also provides other logistical and maintenance support for U.S. forces in the region.

The two countries also share intelligence and maintain a joint anti-terrorist working group.

Israeli military equipment in USA use:

* Cornershot kitty- Expose a weapon, expose a lethal threat, without exposing any part of your body.

* ADM-141 TALD (Improved Tactical Air Launched Decoy)- device used to protect U.S. warplanes from enemy fire.

* AGM-142 Have Nap "The Popeye" - a precise bomb which hits specific coordinates

* Unmanned Aerial Vehicles- An Israeli invention, these are now used by the U.S extensively round the world.

* Python missile - A major air to air missile.

* M120 mortar - A 120 mm Mortar developed by Soltam Systems.

* SMAW - An Anti-tank guided missile developed by Israel Military Industries, based on the Israeli B-300.

* Cardom - A 120mm Recoil mortar system using modern electronic navigation, self-positioning, and target acquisition.

* Gabriel missile - A sea skimming Anti-ship missile.

* SIMON breach grenade - A rifle grenade designed to breach through doors.

* LITENING targeting pod - A precision targeting pod designed to increase combat effectiveness of aircraft.

* International MaxxPro - An MRAP armored fighting vehicle.

* Samson Remote Controlled Weapon Station - A Remote weapon system.

* UZI 9mm Submachine Gun: The U.S. Secret Service currently uses this world-renowned automatic weapon.

And so the list goes on...

The Proof of Jordan is Palestine

Where is the Kingdom of Jordan?
What is its history?

Jordan was created in the part of the British Mandate of Palestine east of the Jordan River, the majority of the Mandate. It was carved out of the Mandate and given to the Hashemite tribe of Arabia as payment for the Hashemites cooperation with the British in World War I. In todays Jordan, the Hashemites are a minority, but control the state's power - the Monarchy. As a product of the British Mandate of Palestine, the majority non-Hashemite population identify themselves as 'Palestinians', or 'Southern Syrians' depending on the political climate.

~ Society for Rational Peace ~

If Jordan's majority population is Palestinian, why are we trying to give them a second homeland?

Concerning Palestine East Of The River Jordan

Each day brings me closer to the realization that Palestine, as it wants to exist within the boundary of Israel, and impose this view on the world community, is a farce... an imaginative place with imaginative people. History proves over and over again that JORDAN IS INDEED PALESTINE.

Here are several quotes from "officials" in the so-called Palestinian community.

LET THEM SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!!!!

1) "We are the Government of Palestine, the army of Palestine and the refugees of Palestine."

~ The Prime Minister of Jordan, Hazza' al-Majali, August 23,1959 ~

2) "Palestine and Transjordan are one, for Palestine is the coastline and Transjordan the hinterland of the same country."

~ King Abdullah, at the Meeting of the Arab League, Cairo, 12th April 1948 ~

3) "Let us not forget the East Bank of the (River) Jordan, where seventy per cent of the inhabitants belong to the Palestinian nation."

~ George Habash, leader of the PFLP section of the PLO, writing in the PLO publication Sha-un Falastinia, February 1970 ~

4) "Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is one people and one land, with one history and one and the same fate."

~ Prince Hassan, brother of King Hussein, addressing the Jordanian National Assembly, 2nd February 1970 ~

5) "There is no family on the East Bank of the river (Jordan) that does not have relatives on the West Bank ... no family in the west that does not have branches in the east."

~ King Hussein, addressing the Jordanian National Assembly, 2nd February 1972 ~

6) "We consider it necessary to clarify to one and all, in the Arab world and outside, that the PALESTINIAN PEOPLE with its nobility and conscience is to be found HERE on the EAST Bank The WEST Bank and the Gaza Strip. Its overwhelming majority is HERE and nowhere else."

~ King Hussein, quoted in An-Hahar, Beirut, 24th August 1972 ~

7) "The Palestinians here constitute not less than one half of the members of the armed forces. They and their brothers, the sons of Transjordan, constitute the members of one family who are equal in everything, in rights and duties." (Quoted by BBC Monitoring Service)

~ King Hussein, on Amman Radio, 3rd February 1973 ~

8) "There are, as well, links of geography and history, and a wide range of interests between the two Banks (of the River Jordan) which have grown stronger over the past twenty years. Let us not forget that el-Salt and Nablus were within the same district - el-Balka - during the Ottoman period, and that family and commercial ties bound the two cities together."

~ Hamdi Ken'an, former Mayor of Nablus, writing in the newspaper Al-Quds, 14th March 1973 ~

9) "The new Jordan, which emerged in 1949, was the creation of the Palestinians of the West Bank and their brothers in the East. While Israel was the negation of the Palestinian right of self-determination, unified Jordan was the expression of it."

~ Sherif Al-Hamid Sharaf, Representative of Jordan at the UN Security Council, 11th June 1973 ~

10) Past "President Bourguiba (of Tunisia) considers Jordan an artificial creation presented by Great Britain to King Abdullah. But he accepts Palestine and the Palestinians as an existing and primary fact since the days of the Pharaohs. Israel, too, he considers as a primary entity. However, Arab history makes no distinction between Jordanians, Syrians and Palestinians. Most of them hail from the same Arab race, which arrived in the region with the Arab Moslem conquest."

~ Editorial Comment in the Jordanian Armed Forces' weekly, Al-Aqsa, Amman, 11th July 1973 ~

11) "With all respect to King Hussein, I suggest that the Emirate of Transjordan was created from oil cloth by Great Britain, which for this purpose cut up ancient Palestine. To this desert territory to the bast of the Jordan (River)., it gave the name Transjordan. But there is nothing in history which carries this name. While since our earliest time there was Palestine and Palestinians. I maintain that the matter of Transjordan is an artificial one, and that Palestine is the basic problem. King Hussein should submit to the wishes of the people, in accordance with the principles of democracy and self-determination, so as-to avoid the fate of his grandfather, Abdullah, or of his cousin, Feisal, both of whom were assassinated."

~ Past President Bourguiba of Tunisia, in a public statement, July 1973 ~

12) "The Palestinians and the Jordanians have created on this soil since 1948 one family - all of whose children have equal rights and obligations."

~ King Hussein, addressing an American Delegation, 19th February 1975 ~

13) "How much better off Hussein would be if he had been induced to abandon his pose as a benevolent 'host' to 'refugees' and to affirm the fact that Jordan is the Palestinian Arab nation-state, just as Israel is the Palestinian Jewish nation-state."

~ Editorial Comment in the publication The Economist of 19th July 1975 ~

14) "Palestine and Jordan were both (by then) under British Mandate, but as my grandfather pointed out in his memoirs, they were hardly separate countries. Transjordan being to the east of the River Jordan, it formed in a sense, the interior of Palestine."

~ King Hussein, writing in his Memoirs ~

15) "Those fishing in troubled waters will not succeed in dividing our people, which extends to both sides of the (River) Jordan, in spite of the artificial boundaries established by the Colonial Office and Winston Churchill half a century ago."

~ Yassir Arafat, in a statement to Eric Roleau ~

16) "Palestinian Arabs hold seventy-five per cent of all government jobs in Jordan."

~ The Sunday newspaper The Observer of 2nd March 1976 ~

17) "Palestinian Arabs control over seventy per cent of Jordan's economy."

~ The Egyptian newspaper Al Ahram of 5th March 1976 ~

18) "There should be a kind of linkage because Jordanians and Palestinians are considered by the PLO as one people."

~ Farouk Kadoumi, head of the PLO Political Department, quoted in Newsweek, 14th March 1977 ~

19) "Along these lines, the West German Der Spiegel magazine this month cited Dr George Habash, leader of one of the Palestinian organizations, as saying that 70 per cent of Jordan's population are Palestinians and that the power in Jordan should be seized." (Translated by BBC Monitoring Service)

~ From a commentary which was broadcast by Radio Amman, 30th June 1980 ~

20) "Jordan is not just another Arab state with regard to Palestine but, rather, Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan in terms of territory, national identity, sufferings, hopes and aspirations, both day and night. Though we are all Arabs and our point of departure is that we are all members of the same people, the Palestinian-Jordanian nation is one and unique, and different from those of the other Arab states."

~ Marwan al Hamoud, member of the Jordanian National Consultative Council and former Minister of Agriculture, quoted by Al Rai, Amman, 24th September 1980 ~

21) "The potential weak spot in Jordan is that most of the population are not, strictly speaking, Jordanian at all, but Palestinian. An estimated 60 per cent of the country's 2,500,000 people are Palestinians ... Most of these hold Jordanian passports, and many are integrated into Jordanian society."

~ Richard Owen, in an article published in The Times, 14th November 1980 ~

22) "There is no moral justification for a second Palestine."

~ The Freeman Center (September 3, 1993) ~

Did the concept of Palestine East of the River Jordan exist before the British Mandate?

The Dead Sea, as you have heard ever since you were children at school, has no outlet, and you can see at once that if it had any connection with the great body of seas and oceans, it would be an inlet. If, as Chinese Gordon proposed a few years ago, a canal were cut so that the waters of the Mediterranean Sea might pour in, they would swell the surface of the Dead Sea thirteen hundred feet up the sides of the mountains on either side; they would rise above the Jordan proportionately; the river Jordan would disappear; the Dead Sea and the lake of Galilee would disappear; and in the place of these a long body of sea water would divide western from eastern Palestine. These characteristics distinguish the Jordan from all the other rivers of the earth, and make its formation a profound study to the geologist--one that has never yet been explained in attempting to trace back the history of this old world.

What happened when the Palestinian Arabs tried to take control of Jordan?

King Hussein of Jordan ejected Arafat's Palestinians in September 1970, called Black September because they were trying to take over his kingdom. King Hussein drove them into Lebanon after killing more than 10,000. The Lebanese welcomed the fleeing Palestinians into their bosom, but suddenly found themselves under attack by Arafat's Palestinians who set up a mini Terror State within Lebanon. For the next 12 years terror raged and over 100,000 Lebanese were murdered by their Palestinian brothers.

Jews Killed Jesus

Where does it come from?
The belief that the Jews killed Jesus grew out of interpretations of the trial and crucifixion portions of the New Testament. The Gospels describe Jewish religious leaders delivering Jesus to Roman authorities with the request that they execute him for blasphemy and public menace. In the Gospel of Matthew (27:25), it is written that Jews cried out, “His blood be on us and our children,” as they demanded his crucifixion. As a result, Christians have historically held Jews collectively responsible for the death of Jesus.

What are the facts?
Crucifixion, the particular method used to execute Jesus, is forbidden by Jewish law. Moreover, Jesus did not commit any crime that is punishable by death according to Jewish law. It is widely agreed upon bycurrent scholars that Jesus was executed bythe Roman rulers of Israel, the same Romans who also executed tens of thousands of other Jews by crucifixion, including two others on the day Jesus was executed.

The myth of Jewish responsibility for Jesus’ death is embedded in 2,000 years worth of Christian teaching and Western culture, starting with the gospels’ attempt to define who the true Jews were. While most people respect the rights of others to adhere to the tenets of their religion, therehas been a historic resentment against Jews by many Christians who cannot understand why Jesus has been so stubbornly rejected. Beginning in the Middle Ages, Christians believed that Jews desecrated communion wafers and killed Christian children to use their blood for matzah (the famous “blood libel”). Today, these issues come up in all sorts of ways, from history classes where the Crusades are taught as heroic times (thousands of Jews were slaughtered during this period) to literature and media that refer to Jewish responsibility for Jesus’ death. The most recent widespread example is Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ.

After the advent of Christianity, a new anti-Judaism evolved. Initially, Christianity was seen as simply another Jewish sect since Jesus and his disciples were Jewish and were preaching a form of Judaism. During the first few hundred years after the crucifixion of Jesus by the Romans, adherents of both Judaism and Christianity co-existed –– sometimes peacefully, sometimes with animosity –– as they sought to proselytize their faith in the same lands.

With the conversion of the Roman emperors, Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire. Early church fathers sought to establish Christianity as the successor of Judaism. Since both religions derived from the Old Testament, Christians sought to establish the validity of their new religion by claiming that it superseded Judaism. The unwillingness of Jews to accept Jesus as the Messiah was viewed as a challenge both to the Roman rulers and to the Christian faith.

According to Christian theologian Carl Evans, “From the New Testament times to the present, it is difficult to find a single period when the Church has not acted shamefully toward the
Jews. I’m convinced that anti-Semitism has been such a powerful and persistent nemesis largely because of the Church’s false witness against the Jews.” To this day, some Christian children are still being taught that “Jews are Christ-killers” and “Jews drink the blood of Christians.” However persistent these myths may be, the Catholic Church has recently made significant steps to correct them. In 1965, the Vatican Council issued Nostra Aetate, which stated that Jesus’ death “cannot be charged against all Jews, without distinction, then alive, nor against the Jews of today.” In 1992, the Catechism of the Catholic Church (a teaching guide) noted that no one is certain of what happened 2,000 years ago and that Jews as a collective group should not be considered responsible for the crucifixion.

How we should respond?
When someone labels you with something as loaded as “Christ Killer,” it is easy to react emotionally. It is best in such a situation to avoid taking the comment to heart and to respond with objectivity.

1. Jesus was a Jew
2. The Romans are responsible to the crucifixion of Jesus as they responsible to the crucifixion of over than 10,000 Jews.
3. The Roman Catholic church adopted Christianity, therefore, the Roman Catholic Christians are ashamed to take responsibility of the crucifixion of their prophet.
